Responsibilities
- Support to Business Processes:
- Assists and advises business processes (Customer Success, Operations, Tech, IT Department, etc.) on the use of information systems and ensures the smooth execution of projects and tasks.
- Provides technical expertise in the monitoring, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure components and their deployment.
- Communicates and works closely with various business processes and stakeholders to align architecture and configurations with the company’s objectives.
- Administration, DevOps, Technology Watch, and Innovation:
- Guides the team and solutions on technical architecture to deliver scalable, maintainable, and comprehensive solutions following industry and security best practices.
- Ensures the production, maintenance, and configuration management of the infrastructure (servers, equipment, network, cloud, etc.), with a focus on minimizing technical debt.
- Promotes a DevOps culture within the team, fostering agility, continuous improvement, performance, and innovation.
- Budget Management and Compliance:
- Manages IT budget components, ensuring cost optimization, forecasting, and expense tracking in line with company objectives and vendor relations.
- Ensures information systems compliance with applicable standards (legal requirements, GDPR, ISO, SOC, etc.) and internal policies, particularly regarding cybersecurity.
- Implements and monitors IT governance processes (auditability, traceability, access management, documentation) to guarantee compliance and the resilience of information systems.
- Project Management:
- Manages improvement projects (scope, timelines, deliverables), prioritizing tasks based on ongoing operations and business needs.
- Oversees and participates in the team’s daily activities, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget compliance.
- Identifies potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Leads, organizes, plans, and controls team activities.
- Handles recruitment, performance management, development, and training of team members.
Profile
- Engineering schools specialized in IT
- Equivalent Bac+5 (Master’s level) diploma in Computer Science: MIAGE, IUP Informatique, Computer Science Master's degree, etc.
- Experienced IT professionals with 5 to 10 years of relevant background.
- Strong expertise in network equipment, configuration, and administration: switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi & controllers, traffic shaping & QoS, etc.
- Strong expertise in system equipment, configuration, and administration: physical servers, VMs, containers, clusters, orchestration, authentication, domain management, databases, etc
- Solid knowledge of DevOps practices: automation, provisioning, Git, monitoring, etc.
- Strong experience with cloud providers and services: GCP, AWS.
- Team management experience.
- Project management experience.
- Good understanding of the company's information system architecture and functionalities.
- Sound knowledge of the company’s environment and its business-specific requirements.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Leadership and coaching abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose effective solutions.
- Excellent listening and communication skills to accurately identify user needs.
- Methodical approach and attention to detail.
- Strong risk assessment abilities, both technical and data-related.
